Firelake-Arrowhead JV Selected for Award of $95M 8(a) Rapid Disaster Infrastructure (RDI) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC)

Firelake-Arrowhead JV, a Joint Venture of Lenexa, Kansas based Firelake Construction, Inc., and Arrowhead Contracting, Inc., has been awarded a 5-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract to provide Rapid, Disaster, Infrastructure construction services throughout a multi-State region including Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota and North Dakota. The contract will be administered by the USACE Omaha District.

The RDI MATOC will provide a full range of time-sensitive disaster, infrastructure, and construction related scopes of work to support federally funded customers. The scope of the RDI contracts encompass a broad range of services including Flood Recovery, Infrastructure Recovery, Emergency Management and Military Construction. Projects will vary in size, complexity, and location, and will require a high degree of flexibility and adaptability. All work will be time-sensitive in nature, necessitating an immediate response to mitigate threats to life and property and/or operational impacts to the government.

The contracts will have a combined capacity of $95M and a 5-year period of performance comprised of a one-year base period and four (4) one-year option periods. Task orders under the RDI MATOC may be Cost Reimbursable, Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee, or Firm Fixed Price contingent upon the Government’s assessment of project risk. Individual task orders will be competed amongst three contract holders.
