St Louis Army Ammunition Plant RA

As a Prime Contractor under a Pre-Placed Remedial Action Contract (PRAC) with USACE, Kansas City District, Arrowhead completed an Engineering Evaluation/Cost Analysis (EE/CA), Remedial Investigation (RI), and Remedial Action (RA) of PCB contamination in and around Building 3 at the former SLAAP site.

The cost-plus cleanup efforts were focused on meeting two primary objectives:

2. Facilitating a Finding of Suitability to Transfer (FOST).

A 170,000 sf, two-story building was demolished and   over 10,000 tons of PCB contaminated concrete and soil, was removed and transported for disposal; and 68,000 CY engineered backfill was placed.
