Richards Gebaur ARS Barracks Renovation

Arrowhead was awarded two, Firm Fixed Price design-build task orders by the USACE Kansas City District for extensive interior and exterior renovation of multiple Marine Corps Barracks facilities.

The diverse and technically complex scope of work associated with this military housing modernization project required Arrowhead to provide virtually all traditional construction trades in a high quality, safe and closely sequenced manner. Arrowhead successfully integrated the efforts of multiple craftsmen involving technically diverse teams of architects; civil, electrical, mechanical, and structural engineers; and carpenters, electricians, plumbers, masons, equipment operators, and general laborers. The effort also required the relocation of residents and management of personal property.

Exterior elements of work included new standing seam and EPDM-membrane roof systems, masonry and stucco siding, window replacement, insulation and ADA compliant entryways, Interior work addressed upgrading all mechanical electrical and plumbing systems, and interior finishes.
