MOUT Training Facility

Under a Firm Fixed Price contract for the USACE, Kansas City District, Arrowhead constructed a 17-structure Military Operations in Urban Terrain (MOUT) training complex for the Department of the Army at Fort Leonard Wood.

The facility was constructed on a 4.3 acre site and included both intact and rubbelized structures for anti-terrorist/urban assault training of various Government agencies.  The facility was constructed such that various deployment and attack approaches could be simulated; and installation also included a classroom, storage facility and a concrete access bridge across an engineered ravine.

All construction activities were completed in strict accordance with detailed construction specifications included as part of the award.  A total of 89 construction submittals were prepared during the execution of the work scope.  Construction of the MOUT Training Facility was completed on schedule/budget despite 40% of the contract days were impacted by adverse weather.
